SCFD Station 32 - Palo Cedro

Station 32 serves the community of Palo Cedro, located five miles east of Redding. The Palo Cedro Fire Station is home to seventeen dedicated Shasta County volunteer firefighters and five career CAL FIRE/SCFD firefighters. Station 32 is also home to the Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) repair and maintenance facility used to perform annual testing of every SCBA worn by CAL FIRE/SCFD paid and volunteers staff.

Station 32's apparatus includes two Type II fire engines, one Type III fire engine, one water tender, and one rescue vehicle. Both the career and volunteer apparatus are equipped with the Jaws of Life, low angle rescue equipment, and other equipment used in mitigating all types of fires. Company 32 is supervised by Volunteer Chief Frank DeNatale.

In 2011, Company 32 responded to 307 emergency incidents.
